My lovely friend Christine stayed overnight before her flight back home to Dallas. It was SO fun to spend a Saturday morning with her. Luckily we value the same things...namely, decadent Valrhona hot cocoa and luscious pastries. If you haven't had the Kouign Amann from Les Madeleine's...well, let's just say it's a must! I neglected to snap a photo of the Kouign Amann because we inhaled it too quickly. After our breakfast we headed over to The Grand America for a quick trip to JouJou and a few treats at La Bonne Vie. Yes...we ate more treats. We were full of sugar and we regret NOTHING! I love my sweet friend and wish she lived closer. However, we would become diabetic, I'm certain.
