First pitch?

Al's pitch. You can see the ball right there.

Erin telling Lilly she was going to keep her eyes on her!

Lil immediately turned around and mumbled, "Get me away from her!"

Fun with Daddy, explaining the game.
I forgot to pull out my camera until my husband was already starting to throw out the "first" pitch. Because AARP was one of the sponsors of the Bee's game, Alan got the opportunity to throw out the "first" pitch...along with 3 other guys who's businesses were sponsoring the event, too. It was fun, though. We got to stand on the field and watch our guy do a great job. I think this was the first professional game we'd taken our kids to. We happened to be there on the same night as our best friend, Andy's, brother was there with his wife's work. Our friends, Jay and Joanna, were there with Joanna's work event. Jay is our good friend, Andy's, brother. Jay has two girls, Carissa and Erin. Erin and Lilly have a lot of similarities in their personalities. Erin was overjoyed with the power we gave her when we asked her to keep an eye on Lilly. I captured the picture of Erin when she gleefully delivered the news to Lilly that she would be "keeping my eye on you!" Lilly was NOT happy with this and you could see it on her face as she turned around and asked Dad to "get me away from her!" It was a fun night with friends. And a fun way to support Alan and mingle with his staff. But the highlight turned out to be watching Miss Lilly and Erin.
