| I imagine their Mom was beaming with pride. |
| I loved the dress! I immediately thought of Grace Kelly. I thought she looked so regal and demure. Completely lovely! |
Lilly woke about 8:15 and watched a bit of the wedding. She loved all of the hats but especially loved looking at the bride. When the bride finally reached the alter she turned to me and said "Who is the guy in red and blue?" She loved seeing the bridal gown and the tiara and the waving Princess. Then she asked me about my dress. I happened to have found it last week in a box while we were cleaning out our garage. Yes...my dress isn't in a preserved state. Just a dress bag with the temple tag still attached. It's yellowed quite a bit but it was still fun to pull out. I forgot I had a small train and teeny tiny pearls at the neck. It was fun to see. Lilly put on my veil (which wasn't really a veil but a barrette with tulle attached. Oh, and there were giant roses on the veil. My seamstress made them way too big but I didn't see the veil until it was too late to do anything about it. Still I loved it then. I had such a happy wedding day!)
So, did you watch? What did you think? I'd love to know!

I watch the recap of it as soon as I got up this morning. It is like a fairy tale, I think it's fun to see a real live princess. Maybe it's because we don't have that in our country. :) I'm glad I'm not the only one who wanted to watch it.
I ended up watching the entire thing around 9 am this morning after my failed attempt to wake up in the middle of the night. Loved the dress though! And I love how the monarchy goes all out and makes sure everything is done with precision. I was told today only 6% of Americans were even interested in the wedding going on, but I was glad to be part of that statistic.
I watched it too!
I´m glad I could watch it by day and not by night.;o) I hope you weren´t too tired the next day!
Kate´s dress was just so beautiful. I whish I was skinny like her... She was just perfect for this dress!
