Max and Lilly loved the "fake" food yesterday. Max "got it" a little more than Miss Lil did.
In fact, Lilly was convinced that these were actual fish sticks for breakfast and she refused to try them at first.
She pointed to the thing the "fish sticks" were made of and loudly declared she wanted that!
(I'm still not revealing my secrets since the contest is going to go on another day.)
I finally convinced her to try the "fish sticks" and she loved them.
The only thing I got Max on was the "drink."
It was fascinating to me that he didn't really fall for anything else but thought that was just colored water.
It was fun to catch him! He ate breakfast with a big, wide grin! He loved it! The only thing Lilly ate right away was the "tartar sauce." She couldn't get enough of it! Then, last night, for dessert I made this "cake."
This is an oldy but a goody. I frosted a roll of toilet paper and decorated it. Lilly was in bed by then but Max and Alan were unconvinced this was an actual cake. My reputation precedes me. It looked so much like a cake, though!
They both tried to dig in. Laughing when they finally saw what they were cutting in to.
It was fun. Poor Alan wrenched his neck two days ago and has been in a lot of pain. He didn't do any "fools" jokes. Normally he plays one or two on me. Poor guy.Well, I hope your day was fun! I'm gonna keep the contest open for one more day so that maybe I can get more entries. I keep my blog for my own journal and don't expect that many eyes visiting. But, it's eye opening when I have a "contest." Your odds of winning a contest over here are pretty darn good!
