Seven pounds, so far. It has not been difficult. I love weight watchers. It just reminds me to be good but I don't feel pressure. I haven't been good at working out. I am sporadic. I'm trying to improve. Today I did get a run in. I haven't been able to wear most shoes for so long because of my painful feet. My right foot has a broken blood vessel and it causes intense pain if I wear tenny shoes. I found "barefoot" running shoes. Nike Free. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They have changed my life. I can run, walk, cycle, etc... I may still have to have surgery but I can work out until then. Thank you Nike. It sounds silly but, it really does bring a little teeny tiny tear to my eye. This morning I got a walk/run in on my treadmill. Lilly woke up and wanted to help me work-out. I had my ipod on so only I could hear the music. She was giving me the moves to do--ala "personal trainer" and I complied with everything. It was hilarious to see this sweet girl, giggling, thrilled that I was doing what she wanted me to do, while I listened to the Offspring and the Beastie Boys in my ears. I loved it and will definitely be incorporating her into my daily work-out!
By the way, did we really need a foot of snow today. I mean, C'mon! Really?!?!?

Okay, first I love that you listen to Offspring and Beastie Boys - Offspring is one of my FAVORITE running companions! I think you are awesome - keep up the good work. Second, just going to let you know something that I have figured out - when I add strength training to my running/walking I seem to lose inches faster. Just keep up the good work. I have to focus on how my clothes fit and NOT the scale because the scale hates me. Anway - good luck. Way to go!
Congrats and I totally agree with Kristine. I love when you take the time for yourself and your body. Isn't it awesome!
woo-hoo!!!!!
