I am sure you can relate to this. The best conversations with my kids are often when they are laying down to go to sleep. Max loves to open up at bedtime, mostly to postpone the inevitable, but also because he gets my undivided attention. Two nights ago, the conversation went like this:
Max: "Mom, I was thinking. If Lilly were to die...not because of me...but some other reason...I know I would be a little sad. It would be kind of nice though. I would definitely have more Lego creations that survived. But, I was thinking, that is probably why Heavenly Father sent her to our family. He knew I would just focus on having more and more Legos. Without Lilly I would have too many to clean up. God keeps it in balance."
Me: "Yep."

Too funny! I love that Max. You don't post enough funny convos with him, because I'm sure they happen at least twice a day.
