Froggy O' Froggy

It is with a lump in my throat that I tell you of the (seeming) demise of our dear, beloved Froggy. He has not been seen since our trip to TJMaxx/HomeGoods. He was brought into the store never to be seen again. We've called, driven over there and scoured the store. I've looked high and low. Though I still hold out some hope that they may find him, my hope is dwindling fast. It has been 4 days that Lil has been without her best friend. She is not herself. Sad. Not sleeping. Waking up at all hours of the night yelling that she can't find Froggy. If you accidently bring him up in conversation, little tears immediately well up in her eyes. She starts to cry. Then sob. "I waaant Froggy!" She throws herself to the ground, inconsolable. I'm kinda sad, too. Silly how a stuffed frog has become a part of our family. He has been around since the beginning of Lilly's life. She took to him from the start. Rarely were the separated. If you saw Lilly, Froggy was not far behind. We are all missing him and sad that our "good-bye" was so abrupt. He hadn't been sick or going to take a long trip. He just left. Gone. We can't call or write. My poor girl is sad.

Of course, I am hopeful that someone will find him. Maybe he's hiding somewhere around here and we'll happen upon him someday. Until then, we are in mourning...but trying to get on with our lives without our friend, Froggy O'Froggy.
