Just call me "Bag" Lady.

So, many of you know that we have been looking to move. We put our house on the market almost 2 weeks ago. We've been looking at homes or deciding to build for close to a year now. We are getting close to some big decisions. After much thought and prayer we have made a major decision. Since the market is so down right now we have decided to donate our home instead of trying to sell. We can take a bigger tax deduction on the donation than we would probably make on a sale. So, we've decided to donate the house to a cause that has really hit home. Many of you know I am somewhat politically active. I was the Democratic Delegate for our area for the past 4 years. This week I stopped being the delegate. I am still passionate about my beliefs. However, recent events have shown me that I need to change some of my priorities. I have found a soul "connection" in an unlikely place. The Tea Party movement. It is inspiring. It is exciting to see a grass roots movement energizing a large group of Americans toward vocal outbursts about what they think they believe. That is why Alan and I have decided to donate our home to this movement and go on the road with the "Tea Party Express." I have always enjoyed a good cup of tea, anyway (decaf, of course!) There you have it. Our minds are made up. Don't try to talk us out of it. We will miss you. But, maybe (fingers crossed) you'll catch a glimpse of us waving a sign somewhere on a national network news camera.Yay...we are now officially "Tea Baggers!!!" We feel really good about this.
