canning


Why does it make you feel so accomplished to can your own food? My fingers burned for 3 days from cutting jalapenos without gloves, the kitchen was a huge mess, and if I figured it out, each jar probably comes to about $9. each! (Counting our time, etc...) But it is so very satisfying, isn't it?!

wow!! impressive!! I canned peaches this year but I was hoping to get enough tomatoes... every year its just not enough to can because we like eating them so much!!!
