I have wanted to write a new post but I haven't had anything to say, really. Such pressure. All the girls in our house have head colds. Mine came on last night. Terrible night, tried to sleep...no luck.
I haven't written about the new house guest we have. Her name is Ashley. She is Canadian. She is 17. She needed a home and we agreed she could stay in our guest room until she graduates from high school. She has been a delightful addition. She doesn't make a mess...she cleans up. She is a typical teen in that she is chatty...really chatty. She has a good head on her shoulders so she seems a bit more mature than her peers. My kids love her. It has been great. We feel like we are helping...although, our out-of-town family members are out-of-luck now. We don't have a guest room for them. :(
Ashley has her "sweethearts" dance this Sat. I have been having fun planning the table decorations, dinner, etc... Six teenagers will be eating dinner at our house since none of them have funds to go out. It should be an experience. I don't have a picture of Ashley to post yet. I'll get her permission and post one soon. In the meantime I will post a pic. of cute little Lilly. She will be two years old next week! Time flies.
By the way, thanks for the nice lunch yesterday Jen! It was way too short. Love you.
