ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!
OK. I am pissed off. My new van, a Honda Odyssey, has never worked right. It locks me in the car. It locks me out of the car. If I use my key to open the door when my key fob won't open it then the car alarm goes off. It doesn't shut off. The alarm goes off even while I am driving down the road. Some of you heard an example of this last night as I left enrichment. It finally turned off about a block before I reached my home. I got in the garage. Turned off the car. Alarm went off again! This time it allowed me to turn it off by putting my key in the car door (it didn't let me do that in the parking lot of the church). ANYWAY...I have taken the van in 4 other times. Once, they had my car for 10 days! "We fixed it this time!" They proudly proclaimed. Within two weeks it was back to locking me in/out, etc... It is supposed to go back in tomorrow. They are very polite at the Honda Dealership BUT they don't seem to understand the AGGRAVATION, stomach acid, headaches, and anger this produces in me. I never got to enjoy my new car. If it is not fixed this time...my lawyer husband will invoke the 'lemon law' and we will get a new car or enter into a lawsuit. Even if we get a new vehicle we will still have to take a loss. Bottom-line.......I miss my Toyota Sienna.

The only problems I've ever had in 5 years with my Honda Odyssey is:
1. the transmission at 92,000 miles. It was compltely covered under warranty so we didn't have to pay a dime.
2. The cruise control at 50,000. Quick 2 hour fix for $250 (over paid mechanics!).
3. Lightbulb in the clock burned out. when I asked them to replace it they wanted $700 to do it since they would have to take of the intire front panel of the dash. I kept the burnt out bulb.
Yours sounds like a lemon for sure.
I don't love mine either. I miss my Town & Country! My sliding door on the drivers' side needs to be repaired (only opens about half the time). However, when you have as many kids as I do and don't have another car that can hold all of you, finding time to leave it at the dealership for hours on end is darn near impossible.
Oh sad!!! I would totally want to pull my hair out. Hopefully something gets done about it this time but how frustrating! I would be sick to my stomach!
For the record a Toyota sienna is my dream car! One day!!!
Hope things get better for you!
