Thank you :)

Thanks to all of you that sent us such sweet messages of love and support. I went to the last funeral on Monday (I hope "last" for a long time!). What a wonderful funeral. There were close to 1000 people in attendance. It was beautiful, inspiring, funny, touching, and tear-filled. Everything you'd want a funeral to be. Although, I have been thinking a lot about funerals lately and have determined I would just like a 'roast' for my funeral. No traditional funeral for me. Please. Just an irreverent...maybe 'R' rated roast. Well, at least PG-13. I want lots of laughter and lots of fun made of me. No tears of sadness. Just gut busting tears of laughter. Alan has agreed that would be appropriate for me. I hope I go long after my Mother-in-law. She would not approve of this at all. :)

I'd like to get in on that roast.

I hope it was your last funeral for a long time, too.

I agree completely. I want more laughter at mine than anything. I'm glad Uncle Mark's funeral had laughs. It's just better that way.

It sounds like you've had more than your share of goodbyes lately. What an incredible boy Max is and I think Lilly was right on with her "Hawaii" statement. I imagine that's what it must be like on the other side -paradise!

Yeah, Bob wants a taco bar at his viewing...that's what he said on the way home from the funeral.
