dial-up sucks

(I made Lil laugh by putting a straw wrapper under my nose. She wanted to try it and I got this cute picture)

So, some of you have made fun of me for having dial-up internet service. Comments like "I didn't know dial-up was still possible!" "I can't believe you have dial-up! How is it back in 1995?" "You're an idiot." I take it in stride since I think it is heroic that I have dial-up and a BLOG! Uploading one picture takes about 17 minutes. Not kidding. I have tried to change the situation a million different ways. Everyone I call says I cannot get high-speed in my area. I know a zillion neighbors that have high-speed, though! So, for now, I will upload just one or two pictures (I can't have my phone off for too long...what if there is an emergency?)

This cute picture of Lilly she begged me to take. She had lined up her favorite toys. From left to right; froggy, lamby, Daisy, and duck. Lilly's first doll, Tulip, is not pictured. Max named Tulip. We thought it was so cute that he named her after a flower (like Miss Lilly, herself) so we have let him name all her friends. Not pictured; Iris, the panda, Rosebud, the mini-baby, Sweetpea, the tiger.
Lilly has been feeling under the weather the past few days. She is already a champion sleeper. In bed by 6:30 or 7:00; awake at around 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. But, feeling not her best has her waking up around 9:00 or 10:00, eating breakfast and then walking to the stairs and pleadingly asking to be taken to bed. "Ni-night?, please Mommy?" It is so unlike her. It breaks your heart. The upside of feeling grim? She cuddles! She NEVER cuddles. So, though I don't like her to be sick...it is kinda nice to have a cuddly baby for awhile.

I'm calling Comcast myself and demanding that they let you get REAL internet.

I am blown away by your patience. Thanks for your dilligence on keeping all of us posted, at the expense of your time.

Hope Lil feels better soon :(

I may have to send Rachel down for Sleeping Lessons 101.
