cute lil' lil'

Those of you that have been to our basement know that Max has a swing, hanging from the ceiling. Lilly loves watching him swing and begs to have a turn. It is difficult for her to swing though because it is a flat, smooth piece of wood. It is sort of slippery unless we hold onto her, but she wants to go fast and high. So, we got her a swing of her own. She LOVES it! Every morning, the first word out of her mouth is "weeeee!" She wants her babies to swing with her. She pats them as she swings, like a loving mother, then she slams them to the ground, 4 feet below. How spoiled are my children that they have swings hanging from the ceiling? I love it though. I am so happy for them. They grin from ear to ear, everyday, every time they get on these swings. FYI: the swings are secured to a big beam of wood in our ceiling. This beam could hold an adult, so my kids are safe. You can get your own swing at IKEA for about $15. The baby swing was from Lowe's for about $20. Pretty cheap fun.

Lilly is sooooo cute! And pretty, too! I was thinking of IKEA reading this post, because we have a rope ladder from there and just haven't figured out where to hang it. A basement would be a good place, with a mat underneath it. Those swings are a great idea.

CUTE pictures...I especially love the part about her throwing her babies down 4 feet. You are too funny. :) Oh, and I won't be at the park tomorrow...we're going to head out of town around noon.

I love it. I don't remember the swing when I went in your basement it must be a new additon. I want to wake up and say "weee" and have a swing in my house. I'll talk to Craig, he will probably send me to your house.
