My kids love Easter. We don't do big baskets with tons of candy...in fact my kids eat a little candy but it always gets forgotten about. The egg dying and hunt are the stars of this holiday! They love hunting for those eggs! This year we happened to have our Grandpa Graeme and Grandma Barbara Sunday fall on Easter. My kids love going over there and having Sunday dinner and then going for a walk around the neighborhood. Lilly got to decorate "nest" cupcakes with Grandma and she was a happy girl! I made no bake "nest" cookies and the kids put the chocolate eggs in them. Didn't they do a good job? I attempted chocolate dipped strawberries made to look like fat little carrots. They were cute but my chocolate work could use some practice!
