Finally Moving!

As some of you may have noticed, we have a giant orange dumpster outside our house. Yep! We are moving! Alan got a job as liaison to the Ex-Chequer of New Zealand (you know he was born there and is a citizen.) This job should be less stressful than his current crap-tastic stressfest of a job. He will be legal council to the Prime Minister, (not THE legal council but he'll be an under associate of the chief barrister) the job term is 5 years. Governor Huntsman, who always liked Alan, recommended him for the job and we are super excited for the opportunity! We will be leaving next weekend--too fast--so if you know of someone that needs a home to buy or rent then send them our way!

I won't be doing any Interior Decorating while in New Zealand. Apparently it is illegal to get paid to help others pick paint. (That's OK since I forget to charge people now!) I will, however, be helping on our small sheep farm. Apparently the digs for the liaison to the Ex-Chequer are on a small gentlemen's farm. Sheep are big business no matter what else you do in New Zealand. I think the kids will love that! Finally we will be able to get a dog for Lilly! I've always had a dream to raise exotic sheep. Max is over the moon excited to be going to the land of The Lord of the Rings. He can't wait to meet an actual Hobbit. I don't have the heart to tell him.

This whole thing seems like a dream...what an adventure! Alan's parents aren't too happy with us leaving. But it's only for 5 years, right?! It'll go by fast!

Oh my word, Wendy! I can't believe it. I had no idea about the New Zealand connection, but I am so excited for you. What an opportunity. Can Heidi come and visit you? She has always wanted to live there. I am very disappointed that you won't be in Utah this summer when we come. Have a wonderful like. And keep blogging, so that we can keep up. Love you.
