Fancy Sandwich.

OK...doesn't this look fancy? It took me no time to put together but looked so impressive to my little family. I made it for St. Patty's Day...sort of "Reubenish." It has turkey pastrami, swiss cheese, creamy Italian dressing, and sauerkraut layered down the middle of the rectangle. Then I cut the dough in 2 inch strips just to the center, alternated the strips...a little like a braid. Brushed it with egg wash and sprinkled with caraway seeds. (I just let 36 Rhodes rolls soften all day and rolled out the dough to make it into this.) I am going to make this in versions I will actually enjoy eating (I'm not a fan of the Reuben. Luckily my husband is.) I think the possibilities are endless! Wouldn't a more girly version be yummy? Pears, gorgonzola, walnuts, etc... Apples and ham, with smoked gouda? And it looks difficult but was so easy! (This recipe was not my brainchild but a recipe shared on Studio 5. I wish I could take the credit!)

OK, for some reason, I can't figure out how to follow your blog. I thought I was a follower, but it doesn't show up on my dashboard. Help.
