I trimmed my hair a few weeks ago to get the long layer cut off. So that made my hair hit at my shoulders causing it to flip out a lot...which I don't enjoy. So I am at a crossroads, again. I loved having long hair. That is what I've had most of my life. I have been trying to grow it out a long time but I get impatient. SO...I want your input. Do I continue to let my hair grow til it's long again. OR should I give myself a drastic change and go super short? I have a square face so short isn't optimal, I think. But I am in the mood for something with a specific style. My hair just hangs there now. Will I regret it though and be sent back on the must-grow-hair-out again trip I've been on for 8 1/2 yrs. now? Or will it fulfill my need to have people tell me they like my haircut?! (I haven't enjoyed that pleasure for a long time!) What do you think?
(I know you have much weightier issues to consider in your own life right now. I do appreciate your attention to my shallow problem.)

If you are feeling daring you should go for it. I am rarely daring with my hair though, so I am not really one to talk.
Do it, do it, do it!(: I think you would look super cute with short hair.
Oh thats such a hard one... i feel your pain! I get to a certain point and I cut my hair every time. I LOVE those short haircuts though, so cute! I think either way you will look absolutely fabulous :)
ah that is a tough one! those cuts are super darling, and you can always do extensions if you hate it! ;) you should go for it. It would be something you've never had before. And what a fun way to remember 40! Love ya.
ps NOT a shallow problem ;) it could affect you for years after all!
oh and I love the polaroid look on your pics...super, super cute!
I think that cut would be very cute on you. I know what you mean tho about trying to grow your hair out. Does your hair grow fast or slow? I vote for "be daring" and go for it!
Cut it! It will always, always grow back.
