Fun!

I sat in my van because the air was freezing. I don't know how kids do it! They played and played in the cold air, at the park in our neighborhood...running up and down the giant sides of the retention pond (empty) and up and down the slides. Our cute neighbors dog was playing tag with the kids. He was always 'it'. He didn't seem to mind. He would run right up onto the play structure and then follow the kids he was chasing down the slides. It was adorable! He was so good with all the children. Never an aggressive act even though he looked completely immersed in the game of chase. It made me smile and resolve to let my kids play at the park more often. Because we have swings in our basement I figure they can play there. But there really is no substitute for that fresh air and large space to run run run! AND I don't allow large dogs in our basement...I am no fun at all.

You might be able to see the dog getting ready to head down the far slide, if you look closely!

Do you see that pooch headed quickly up the stairs?

He'd make it to the top and the kids would scream and scatter!

There's the dog again, headed down the slide opposite me. It was too cold for me to get out of my cozy van.
I never got a picture of him when he'd come down the slide closest to me.

Lilly LOVED it when he'd chase her!
