Foot surgery has meant lots more time on my butt than I originally thought. If I try to walk too much, my foot swells and becomes nearly intolerable. So, I sit. Foot propped up with an ice pack. The kids run around the house without a Mother to stop them from making many messes. They virtually fend for themselves. Even Max has been pushed into helping Lilly go potty. Nearly intolerable for him! I am going a little stir crazy since I like to run around the valley almost daily...shopping, lunch with Alan, etc... That is all on hold til my foot heals.

Until then, the kids are enjoying making forts and staying in their p.j.'s all day.

I hope you get back on your feet soon.
I hope it gets feeling better soon!
OUCH!!! That looks painful! I hope that you get feeling better soon!
That doesn't look or sound like much fun! I hope you heal quickly. What exactly did they do to your foot? Good luck!
I had a neuroma. It was the biggest one my surgeon had ever taken out, he said. I was living with intense, intermittent pain for more than 6 yrs. I'm so glad it's finally out!
Thanks for all the well wishes!
Poor you! I hope you will be feeling better soon! My thoughts are with you!

Wendy, I didn't know you had surgery! What can I do for you??
BTW, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that cherry pitter. I will have to get one. You are a lifesaver! Thank you so much! I will bring it back, with treats to help your foot feel better. :) when that is, however, I don't know.
Hope it's better for you once it has healed and you are back on your feet soon.
I've been out of town for a week. What happened?
