Here in Utah you don't celebrate on Sunday if the 4th falls on Sunday. SO, we got to celebrate on Saturday and Monday! Andy and Leslie came over that evening and the kids finally got to set off some fireworks and play with poppers and sparklers. Greg watched. Greg laughed at my genuine screams every time a loud firework startled me. Max got to light the fireworks again this year. I don't like it but Alan thinks it's fine. I trust he knows what he's doing. (Alan, that is.) Lilly burned her wittle finger trying to grab Max's sparkler. You'd think this would teach her a larger lesson about grabbing things from people, but no. (If you notice, our neighbor's little boy crashed our party. Calvin. He's a cutie and we welcomed him over. Afterall, his Dad gives us free yogurt and mows our lawn every now and then!)
