Happy Love Day!

These are the pretty flowers Big Al got for me. Hydrangeas are my very most favorite of blooms. I like all colors of them but white or blue are the winning colors for me. Aren't they beautiful? I don't mean to take the spotlight off the cute Gerbera daisies. They are fantastic! I love love love all flowers. I had beautiful hydrangea bushes when I lived back east and it makes me sad that they don't grow in Utah. It makes my heart sing to see them blooming on my counter top.

We have had a lovely day. Big Al got me an apple pie caramel apple from V Chocolates. I wanted to share...really I did. It was yummy. And, funny enough, I got him some chocolate frogs from V. He did the same for me. I made the valentine envelopes (pictured above) at our sewing club. I didn't do the complicated valentine backpacks that everyone else did. See, I don't sew. I don't know how to thread my machine, though I do have one. Char helped as much as she could with my project, thankfully! The kids liked finding their valentine notes and chocolates from Mom and Dad in the envelopes.

We want to make sure, before this day is done, to tell you friends and family that we love you dearly. You are a wonderful part of our lives! We wish every good thing for you. Happy Valentines Day!
