Here is a picture of Lilly and her darling friend Carter (he's the one in braids.) I love this picture of them! Lilly really got into Halloween this year!

I have neglected to post about Halloween. Sorry it's late and you've all gone on to other things but I need this for my year end book (thank you blurb.) I didn't get pictures of Max in his costume. My sister did and I will have to steal one from her.
The day before Halloween Lilly didn't want to take off her costume so I managed to capture her. We enjoyed the day before by going to Engh Gardens and buying pumpkins...finally!
The kids chased each other through the hay maze
loved looking at all the scary things there.
The next day, while I was shopping for our little Halloween get together with family & friends, Alan completely decorated. Inside and out! He did an amazing job, too! The outside looked perfectly scary for all ages. Sorry not to get a photo of that either! The kids loved carving pumpkins with Dad. My poor niece, Mabel, was not too happy with the decorations of Halloween this year. It was too scary. To make matters worse, as people showed up to our party they would see Mabel and say "Come here sweetie. Come and look at this..." They, not knowing how scared these things made her, would proceed to show her the very thing she had just calmed down from screaming at 5 minutes before!
Funny, though, her Dad (my brother) in this mask didn't scare her as much as it did the rest of us!
It was disorganized and chaotic but we all had fun.
