Tonight we got to celebrate the college graduation of our dear friend, Carley, and the 17th birthday of her sister, Kirby. I was the nanny for Carley and Kirby. I started watching them when Kirby was 16 months old! We were newlyweds when I started working for them. Paige and Steven (Mom & Dad) were so kind to us then and through the years our friendships have grown deeper. They continue to be so generous to us. They shower us with love and hugs. They are family to us and we love them dearly. It is amazing to have such enduring bonds with what started as a working relationship. They all call me "Mimi" since that was how Kirby said 'Wendy' back then. Now, the girls watch my kids once in a while...time goes so fast! We feel honored to always be included in these special milestones. Congratulations Carley! You've grown into a remarkable young woman who is a great role model for the sister that is following close behind you. We are so proud of you both!
