cute 2 year old girl

Our sweet girl is now 2! The time has flown...except when I am in public and she is screaming...then it drags on forever. I have new compassion for people whose children are screaming, biting, or hitting their parents in stores. We are pretty good parents with consistency out the wahzoo...but that doesn't change the bad behavior very quickly. She is learning. We have noticed that some of our guidance has paid off even though it has taken so long to see results that we almost gave up. She can be the sweetest, funniest kid, too. She will come up and give the tiniest pats on the back with her hugs. She will happily go to time out when she has misbehaved. Her "I'n sorry, Mama" melts your heart. She laughs at everything Max does. "Oh, Max! Funny Max" is frequently heard around our home. Her first 'real' sentence was months ago but it continues to be the sentence of choice, "I need that." You can often hear her say it in a store. As she browses in the aisles of a store you will hear "Oh, cute. I need that!". I don't know where she heard that.

She loves clothes, having her picture taken, playing with Max, eating almonds and dried apricots, thinks water is a treat but has recently learned that a thing called 'hot chocolate' exists (it's really just chocolate milk...she thinks it is called 'hot chocolate') and she loves it, she loves playing with dollies, cooking with Mommy, doing anything with Daddy. We complain about her but don't let that mislead you. We absolutely adore this little one. She and her brother are the lights of our lives and we feel so blessed to know them.
