It's been more than two weeks since Lilly's birthday. Two of her balloons are still floating around this place. They were starting to look a little flat so I told her we needed to let them go to the garage. In an effort to keep them safe from the garbage, she let them fly up to the tippy top of her bedroom ceiling where they got tangled on the ceiling fan. They had to be cut down but Lilly wanted them still. She carried this star around by it's little stem all afternoon. She begged me to take a photo of her and her mylar friend. (Miss Lil is allergic to latex balloons. She just doesn't get to play with balloons much.) She rolled onto the floor, playfully holding her balloon overhead when she lost her grip of it. Just look at her face as she realizes her beloved balloon buddy is floating up to the ceiling. She looked terrified! Then one moment later all was right with the world since I was able to jump up and grab it for her. She can change moods on a dime!
