Onion.

Just a quick post so that I can remember the only thing we grew in our garden this year. Onions. Here's the last of them. And they'll probably sit there, in the bowl, until they rot since we don't use a lot of onions. Or maybe I'll get on the stick and actually cook something. I've been so not interested in cooking lately!
Update on the Onion: Since I've been congratulated on planting something in our garden this year my conscience impels me to make one thing clear. These were planted LAST year and we thought they must be duds. Little did we know it takes a good 15 months or so to see the fruits of your labor when you plant onion seeds....or bulbs or whatever they were. I've forgotten, it was so long ago.

I have the EASIEST, best french onion soup recipe. Actually, it's just from that Red and White Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook...I'd highly recommend it. If you don't have that one let me know and I'll get it to you.

Good Job on growing something in your garden! We never even got one planted this year. Hopefully next year. I'm with you on not wanting to cook lately! I wish I would snap out of it. :)
