wendy, et al...: Family Saturday.

There is always LOTS of good food!

We woke up early Saturday morning. We were headed to get family pictures at 8:30 a.m.! A nice family, neighbors of my brother/sister in-law, allowed our giant family to use their beautiful yard---that included a small lake filled with trout,a suspension bridge, and a dock! It was quite a feat getting us all to pose. Then we went back to Brett and Marianne's to snack until lunch. Brett and Marianne are so generous to open their house to everyone. We make a huge mess and never stay to clean up. They are always gracious. Marianne rented water slides for the kids (although "kids" is loosely used here since Jeremy, Ashley, and Tyler fit right in with the younger ones!) Max got his first sunburn EVER! He played for hours and his neglectful Mother didn't put sunscreen on him. You cannot see the sunburn but he assures me it is there!

We are the luckiest people. The Ormsby family is close knit and we all love and respect each other. In the 17 yrs. I've been a member of this family there hasn't been one squabble. Nothing even close! The sister-in-laws love each other. And we all like our Mother-in-law! We know this is a rare circumstance and we cherish the bonds we have. My kids adore their cousins and love any opportunity to play. Max and Lilly even love playing with the more grown up cousins and those teens and young adults lovingly play, wholeheartedly with them! I feel blessed to be a part of them!
