This is a cute picture of two boys working very hard on Max's oral report/diorama. Alan is making a "bay-u-bab" tree (I think he made that up) and Max is painting the constrictors that he molded out of modeling clay. The diorama turned out so cute. (I am certain Max does not want me referring to his cool snake diorama as "cute!") Of course, we ended up helping a lot since this was his first diorama and he needed help even knowing what a diorama was. But I think the next one he could do all by himself. He loved the outcome of all his hard work and he got a great grade, too. That grade helped him get his final award at school "The Coyote Pride."He worked really hard and accomplished everything on the LONG list of requirements for that award. The students need to accomplish at least 14 of the 17 goals. He got 16 done! The 17th was entering the Reflections Contest put on by the PTA. He opted not to do that. I am so very proud of his hard work this year! He really put effort into his school work and grew a lot mentally and emotionally this year. We love this boy!
