I have been meaning to write about the fun visit, a few weeks ago, from our friend Christine and her darling daughter, Madeline. They live in Texas, now, but we met them in Connecticut. They are some of our dearest friends and we were excited to see them. The thing about Christine is that everyone feels they are her dearest friend. She makes you feel loved and cared about...like you are one of the most important people in her life. It's a true talent. She also cooks and bakes like a pro! (One of the reasons we are sad not to live closer to her!) It was a short visit but so fun!

We also got to meet a family that just moved from Dallas and now live in Sandy; The Ellsworths. They are friends of our friends and so we met. We feel lucky to have met since they are a wonderful family, too! Our sons are made from the same mold. (A mold made out of Legos and Star Wars) The only picture I have of the Ellsworths is their cute baby, Porter.

This other picture is of a paper picture I made for Madie. She turned 8 and we were celebrating her b-day. I feel a little weird showing off my paper project...but it turned out so cute for my first try. I was kinda proud of it.

The paper picture turned out WAY cute! Did you use punches or cut it all out manually or what?
I remember Christine. I met her when I lived by you. She is so sweet, I am glad you had a fun visit with her.
I love your paper picture. I am very impressed, you talented gal, you.
That turned out so cute and her foot looks great, not to big for the rest of her leg at all.
I cut everything our manually. I didn't plan it out...just did it as I went...which is my M.O. I really want to try more. Thanks for asking Char :)
How could you possibly not show off your cute card! You could make money doing that!
as soon as I saw your post I was going to ask you how she liked the CUTE artwork you made just for her. I'm glad you posted it, SUPER cute. And kim's comment made me laugh. It looked like a big foot for a minute, okay??? :)
Seriously, your card turned out so adorable! Did she love it? I think we're going to do scrapbooking at my house next Wednesday.
Love the card!
