Shout out to MaMoo

My Mom hung out with us on thursday. She wanted to spend time with the kids and we dragged her to lunch and on errands. Now, the significance of the pictures would be lost on you if I didn't tell you of my mom's extreme fear of fowl. She cannot even see a picture of a bird without getting bothered. She is a true blue orniphobe. BUT, Grandmas can do amazing things when a little boy they love GUARANTEES they will beat up any geese that come Grandmas way. Max was ready to punch a bird. No such luck. Grandma did a good job controlling her fear. Max and Lilly had a great time throwing old pita bread to the ducks. A highlight was the giant carp in the water. Lilly would giggle as they jumped up to get the bread before the geese got it. I love how simply throwing old bread at geese and fish is a banner day for little children. They are wonderful!

(FYI: "MaMoo" is what Lilly calls Grandma)

I'd like to see Max fight a goose. Think you could set that up for Enrichment night or something?

Wendy, I love this story, my Grandchildren call my Mother *Mamoo* too! I came to your site to read again, your beautiful words about birth-moms.
Hugs for Max and Lily from Georgia!

Love, love, love reading your blog. Since my children are all grown now, I get a glimps into our world before age crept in and stole them from me. Actually, I have loved every stage of our children's lives, even married life!
